Rattle Daily Poem

ABOUT

Rattle Daily Poem is the email-newsletter arm of Rattle, the quarterly poetry magazine founded in 1995 by Alan Fox and published out of Los Angeles by the Rattle Foundation. The magazine built its reputation on eclectic, accessible free verse, extensive interviews with poets, and its long-running "Poets Respond" feature, in which poets write and submit work reacting to a news event from the preceding week. The Daily Poem newsletter repackages that identity for an inbox audience: rather than requiring readers to visit the site or wait for the quarterly print issue, it sends one team-selected poem each day, drawing from Rattle's archive, current issue, and the timely Poets Respond series.
