Poetry Daily

Poetry Daily (poems.com) has published one poem every day since 1997, drawn from just-released books, chapbooks, and journal issues — which makes it, in effect, a running anthology of what poetry publishers are doing right now. Each poem appears with full credit and a purchase link, and publishers cooperate eagerly because it sells books.

Originally an independent nonprofit founded by Don Selby and Diane Boller, it has been housed at George Mason University since 2018, where an editorial board of poets selects the daily feature. For a reader who wants a broad, current, well-sourced daily poem — rather than one house's taste — this is the standard.
