Autumn Sky Poetry Daily
ABOUT
Autumn Sky Poetry Daily is the current incarnation of Autumn Sky Poetry, an online poetry journal founded by Christine Klocek-Lim in the mid-2000s that built a following for its curated, single-poem presentation and unfussy design. Rather than running submission cycles and issues, the site now operates as a daily poetry blog: each day it republishes one previously published poem, usually with a short contextual note about where it first appeared and, often, a link to the poet's book. A recurring Saturday feature spotlights a full poetry collection, pairing a cover image, a sample poem, and a buy link, and many of these features are later recycled into the daily rotation as 'from the archives' posts.
Because the site republishes existing work rather than accepting new poems, there is no visible submission portal, reading period, fee, or payment on the page — this is a curation and promotion venue, not a market to submit fresh work to. Poets interested in being featured typically get there via the editor's own reading of recently published books and journals, so the practical path in is publishing well elsewhere first, or having an editor take notice of a new collection. Updates appear daily and the archive is browsable by date, making it a low-friction way to discover working poets and small-press titles, but it is not a place to query or pitch in the conventional sense.
