Palette Poetry
Online poetry-only journal publishing weekly; pays $50+ per poem and runs several prizes.
Palette Poetry launched in 2017 as a poetry-only online journal from the team behind The Masters Review, with a mandate to pay poets real money and spotlight emerging voices alongside established ones. It publishes new work weekly and pays $50 per poem and up (more for featured poets).
General submissions are free during open periods, and the journal runs a rotating slate of well-funded prizes — the Palette Poetry Prize, Emerging Poet Prize, Previously Published Poem Prize, and Rising Poet Prize among them — most judged by marquee names. Its craft essays and interviews have made it a hub for early-career poets navigating the submission landscape.
