Lineate
WordPress plugin for publishing poems that actually render: preserves lineation, indentation, and spacing across themes and devices.
Lineate is a WordPress plugin built by the Almanac's editor to solve the oldest technical failure in online poetry: poems that lose their lineation, indentation, and internal spacing the moment they hit a CMS. Published poems survive theme changes, font scaling, and phone screens with the poet's line breaks intact — hanging indents for wrapped lines included.
It exists because most journals still publish poems as ordinary paragraphs and hope. The Almanac's Tech Report Card audits journals for exactly this failure ("preserves lineation"), and Lineate is the recommended fix — declared plainly here in the interest of transparency: same builder.
