Frontier Poetry launched in 2017 as a sister publication to The Masters Review and Palette Poetry, aimed squarely at new and emerging poets — its flagship New Voices category is open, free, and restricted to poets with at most one full-length collection. It pays $50 per poem for New Voices work and up to $100 for features.
Alongside the free channel it runs frequent contests (the Frontier OPEN, Award for New Poets, Industry Prize) with substantial purses, plus craft columns and "poetry terms" explainers that rank highly in search — a quietly effective discovery engine for the journal and its poets.
