ABOUT
DIAGRAM was founded in 2000 by Ander Monson and has run continuously since, now in its 26th volume, making it one of the longer-lived online literary magazines. It's published under the New Michigan Press umbrella and has built a reputation for formally inventive, genre-blurring work—prose poems, hybrid texts, visual/schematic pieces, diagrams and "found" documents alongside more conventional poetry and flash prose. The magazine also runs a companion review section/blog and periodically produces print anthologies, chapbooks, and even a tarot deck through its merch store, extending its identity beyond a standard journal.
