Colorado Review has been published under the auspices of Colorado State University's English Department since 1956, making it one of the longer-running university literary journals in the country. It publishes poetry, fiction, and nonfiction, along with book reviews and interviews with contributors, and is currently edited by Stephanie G'Schwind. Over the decades it has built a reputation as a solid, general-interest literary quarterly-style outlet that mixes emerging and established writers, with an emphasis on craft-forward fiction and poetry alongside a robust nonfiction and reviews section.
