Academic Jobs Wiki — Creative Writing
ABOUT
Academic Jobs Wiki's Creative Writing page is a genre-specific spinoff of the crowdsourced, anonymously-edited MediaWiki (hosted on Fandom) that has tracked English-department and creative-writing faculty hiring since the wiki's founding in the mid-2000s. It follows the format pioneered by the original Academic Jobs Wiki and its long-running English Literature page: a season-specific page (here, 2025-2026, for jobs beginning in 2026) where anonymous users log tenure-track, visiting, and administrative postings in fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and open-genre creative writing, then crowdsource updates on interview requests, campus visits, offers, and rejections as they leak out over the hiring cycle. There is no formal editorial staff — content is added and revised by job candidates and, occasionally, search-committee insiders — and the wiki is best known in the field as the anxiety-ridden, gossip-inflected companion to the MLA Job List and Interfolio postings, complete with a 'Word on the Street' rumor section and a 'Who Got the Job' summary table.
